Eos Brüggen (1996, she/they) is a visual artist and Ayurvedic practitioner based in Amsterdam and London. Her artistic practice emerges from a place of happiness and wonderment and is strongly rooted in the human relationship with nature. Often, this leads to immersive works of art that invite the audience to become part of a magical world where embodiment and playfulness are key, where all senses are sharpened, and where grief acts as a doorway to a vaster understanding of our inter-existence on this earth. Through these rituals, they would like to question an anthropocentric worldview and propose symbiotic relationships between subjects and objects. Eos believes technical craftsmanship and a new sense of beauty in the arts are important tools for shaping the future. She likes to work with diverse materials such as textile, soundscapes, and the human body.
